Berenice is a third year PiNBAC trainee. She was born and raised in Mexico and moved to California at the age of 9. She graduated from San Francisco State University. During PiNBAC, she worked in the lab of Dr. Max Heiman at Boston Children’s Hospital. Her research interests broadly include neuron morphogenesis. Outside of the lab, she enjoys running by the Charles, making playlists, and spending time in nature!
