Lauren is a PiNBAC trainee from Atlanta, Georgia and attended Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina for her undergraduate studies. At Furman, she majored in Neuroscience and conducted research in computational chemistry, focusing on the study of opioid molecule structures. Currently, she is working in the Levin lab at Boston Children's Hospital, where she is involved in researching sensory processing in children with neurodevelopmental conditions using EEG. Transitioning from her computational and basic science background, she is enthusiastic about gaining hands-on clinical experience. She has a strong interest in the intersection between basic and clinical science. Outside of the lab, she enjoys shopping for good deals, savoring delicious food, and engaging in yoga practice.
